I apologize for taking so long to put up pictures of the new missionaries who arrived two weeks ago. We had our semi-annual mission president and wives training seminar in Peru all last week and I just didn't have time to update the blog. We received six sisters and thirteen elders on Oct. 20. One elder and sister were coming from the Provo MTC and their plane was delayed and they missed their connecting flight. So unfortunately they didn't arrive until Tuesday night and missed the lunch and orientation. But they were here for the training meeting with their new companions the next day. They are the first group of new missionaries to arrive at the new mission home. The end of September we changed mission homes with the Guayaquil South Mission so they could live in a house for their children and so we could finally live in our mission boundaries. We are so glad to be here and be able to do more in the mission home with our missionaries! The pictures below show the missionaries arrival at the airport, the lunch and meeting at the mission home, the two missionaries who arrived that night, and the training meeting with their new companions the next day. They all left that afternoon to go to their new areas and start their 12-week training.
Lo siento por demorrar tanto en poner las fotos de los misioneros nuevos que llegaron hace dos semanas. Tuvimos nuestro seminario de capacitación de presidentes de misión y esposas la semana pasada en Perú en no he tenido tiempo para poner al dia el blog. Recibimos seis hermanas y trece élderes el 20 de octubre. Un élder y hermana salieron del CCM en Provo y su vuelo llegó tarde y perdieron el vuelo a Guayaquil; asi es que ellos no llegaron hasta el martas en la noche y perdieron el almuerzo y reunión en la casa de misión. Pero estuvieron para la capacitación con sus nuevos compañeros el próximo dia. Es el primer grupo de misioneros de llegar a la nueva casa de misión. Los finales de septiembre cambiamos de casa con la misión Guayaquil Sur para que sus hijos de ellos puedieran vivir en una casa y nosotros pudieramos estar dentro de los límites de nuestra misión. Estamos tan agradecidos estar aquí y poder hacer más en la casa de misión con nuestros misioneros! Las fotos abajo son de los misioneros cuando llegaron al aeropuerto, en el almuerzo y reunión en la casa de misión, los dos misioneros que llegaron esa noche, y la capacitación el próximo día. Todos salieron para sus nuevas área esa tarde para empezar su entrenamiento de las 12 semanas.
