MORE GOOD-BYES ADIOS OTRA VEZ

In mid February we had a farewell dinner for two of our wonderful sister training leaders who were finishing their missions.  Sis. Fuentes left the following week and Sis. Córdova extended a few weeks and so she leaves in March. We had their farewell dinner together so they wouldn't have to have one alone. I forgot to take pictures of the dinner itself unfortunately. Because I only had to cook for four of us, I made enchiladas and beans instead of the usual spaghetti I make for the large groups.  They were really happy to have enchiladas! It's so hard to say good-bye to our wonderful missionaries!

En febrero tuvimos una cena de despedida para dos de nuestras maravillosas hermanas líderes quienes estaban terminando sus misiones. Hna. Fuentes terminó la próxima semana y Hna. Córdova terminará en Marzo porque extendió unas semanas. Tuvimos la cena con las dos para que no tuvieran que estar solas. Se me olvidó tomar fotos durante la cena desafortunadamente. Porque éramos solamente cuatro para la cena, pude hacer enchiladas y frijoles en vez del spaghetti que usualmente hago para los grupos grandes. Ellas estaban felices de comer enchiladas! Es tan difícil decir adiós a nuestros maravillosos misioneros!

MISSION NURSES TRAINING CAPACITACION DE ENFERMERAS DE LA MISION

We have two fairly new mission nurses and so we had another nurses conference. Our mission nurses planned it and carried it out and did a wonderful job.  I am so grateful to have such wonderful mission nurses.  It allows me to be able to do much more to help and support my husband in his calling because they are taking care majority of the health issues of the missionaries.

Tenemos dos nuevas enfermeras; asi es que tuvimos otra conferencia de enfermeras. Nuestras enfermeras de la misión la planearon y la llevaron acabo y hicieron un buen trabajo. Estoy tan agradecida tener tan maravillosas enfermeras de la misión.  Tener a ellas me deja poder hacer mas para ayudar y apoyar a mi esposo en su llamamiento porque ellas se encargan de la mayoría de los asuntos de la salud de los misioneros.

MULTI-ZONE CONFERENCES CONFERENCIAS MULTI-ZONA

During the first half of February, the missionaries had their quarterly interviews with Pres. Dennis and we held multi-zone conferences. We spent most of the time discussing together what they learned in the world-wide missionary training we had in January.  Below are some pictures we took. We always love being with our missionaries in zone conferences!! 

Durante la primera parte de febrero, los misioneros tuvieron sus entrevistas trimestrales con Pres. Dennis y tuvimos conferencias multi-zona. Pasamos la mayoria del tiempo hablando juntos de lo que aprendieron en la capacitación mundial de misioneros que tuvimos en enero. Abajo hay algunas fotos que tomamos. Siempre nos gusta mucho estar con nuestros misioneras en las conferencias de zona!!
