The Saturday morning after the mission conference with Elder and Sis. Godoy, we took them and the area authority, Elder Calderón, to visit Manta and Portoviejo to see some of the destruction the earthquake had caused and to visit with some of the affected members and one of the stake centers being used as a shelter. Sunday morning we attended two sacrament meetings with members in Manta and Elder Godoy spoke at both meetings. On the way back, we stopped to see Pres. and Sis. Alvarado in Jipijapa and went to see the temple after arriving in Guayaquil before going to the airport. It was a very good trip and we enjoyed getting to know Elder and Sis. Godoy better and hearing more of their conversion stories.
La mañana del sábado después de la conferencia de misión, llevamos a Elder y Hna. Godoy junto con Elder Calderón, la setenta de área, a Manta y Portoviejo para ver algo de la destrucción causado por el terremoto y también para visitar algunos miembros afectados y ver uno de los centros de estaca que estaban usando como albergue. El domingo asistimos a dos reuniones sacramentales con miembros en Manta. Al regreso, paramos en Jipijapa para ver a Pte y Hna Alvarado y al llegar a Guayaquil, fuimos a ver el templo antes de ir al aeropuerto. Fue muy buen viaje y disfrutamos conocer mejor a Elder y Hna. Godoy y escuchar mas de la historia de su conversión.
