NEW SISTER, MULTI-ZONE CONFERENCES, SISTERS CONFERENCE, TRI-MISSION CONFERENCE, AND LEADERSHIP COUNCILS

I'm very late getting up pictures from our multi-zone conferences and sister conference in May, our tri-mission conference in June, and our leadership councils for May and June. The only thing I've been able to get up are pictures of our wonderful missionaries that have come and gone (with the exception of one).Things have been very busy the past couple of months! I will probably need to do this in more than one post.
Estoy muy tarde en poner fotos de nuestra conferencias multi-zona y conferencia de hermanas en mayo, nuestra conferencia con las tres misiones de Guayaquil en junio, y nuestros consejos de líderes para mayo y junio. Las únicas fotos que he puesto son de nuestros maravillosos misioneros que han llegado y salido (con la excepción de una).  Hemos estado muy ocupados los últimos dos meses!

We had one sister missionary arrive a week after the group that came in April.  She was assigned to our mission but had been serving in Nicaragua since September waiting for her visa.  We're glad she's finally here! (I had forgotten to add her picture to the blog)

Llegó una misionera una semana después del grupo que llegó en abril. Fue asignado a nuestra misión pero había estado sirviendo en Nicaragua mientras esperaba su visa. Estamos contentos que por fin está con nosotros! (se me había olvidado poner su foto aquí)

Elder Oaks and Elder Clayton were scheduled to come but their plane was delayed, so Elder Waddell and his wife spoke along with the three mission presidents and their wives. It was a wonderful experience to be with all the missionaries serving in and around Guayaquil.

Elder Oaks y Elder Clayton iban a venir pero se atrasó su avión, así es que discursaron Elder Waddell y su esposa con los tres presidentes de misión y sus esposas. Fue maravilloso estar con todos los misioneros sirviendo alrededor de Guayaquil.

TRANSFER DAY IN JUNE (FOR THE SECOND TIME!)

Traffic in Guayaquil is awful and people are always cutting right in front of you or coming over into your lane without looking first. This is the second time someone did this to Pres. Dennis on transfer day. This time a big utility truck pulled right in front of him and stopped. He was on his way to the mission home for the farewell dinner for our missionaries.  Luckily only the car was hurt (with the exception of some fractured toes trying to brake)! No damage to the truck. He had just gotten the car back after the same thing happened with an SUV on transfer day in March. He's going to start taking a taxi on transfer days from now on!!
