SUNDAY WITH ELDER AND SISTER MONTOYA DOMINGO CON ELDER Y HNA MONTOYA

The day after our mission conference, we had the opportunity to attend a special stake conference in the Juan Montalvo Stake with Elder and Sis. Montoya as well as special meetings before and after the conference.  After those meetings we took them to a chapel in Pascuales (Monte Sinai) which was built by the members.  Later in the afternoon we dropped them off at the Mapasingue chapel for a "Preguntas y Respuestas" youth meeting with Elder Rasband. They invited us to attend as well, but unfortunately we were unable to.  Elder Montoya is from the same city in Mexico as Pres. Dennis and they have known each other for 40 years.  They had not seen each other in years before Elder Montoya was assigned to the area presidency.

El día después de la conferencia de misión, tuvimos la oportunidad de asistir una conferencia de estaca especial en la Estaca Juan Montalvo con Elder y Hna. Montoya, y también reuniones especiales antes y después de la conferencia. Después de esas reuniones, les llevamos a una capilla en Pascuales (Monte Sinai) que fue construida por los miembros. Más tarde les llevamos a la capilla Mapasingue para un programa "Preguntas y Respuestas" para la juventud con Elder Rasband. Nos invitaron asistir con ellos pero desafortunadamente no pudimos.  Elder Montoya es de la misma ciudad en Mexico de donde es Pte. Dennis y se han conocido por 40 años. No se habían visto por años antes de que Elder Montoya fue asignado a la presidencia del área.
