Last week we received ten new wonderful missionaries, some arriving from the MTC in Mexico City and the rest from the MTC in Bogotá. After they arrived, we went to the mission home for lunch and an orientation. Then we went to the mission office to fill out forms, write to families, take pictures and have interviews. Usually we have them go to the temple that night, but because the entire mission will go next month, we didn't do that this time. They got to catch up on some sleep. The next day they had breakfast and then went to the church for training with their new companions. The best part of the day is in the afternoon when they find out who their companions are and where they will be going. They are going to be great missionaries!
La semana pasada recibimos diez maravillosos misioneros más, algunos llegando del CCM de México y los demás del CCM de Colombia. Después de llegar, fuimos a la casa de misión para un almerzo y una capacitación. Después fuimos a la oficina para llenar formas, escribir a familias, tomar más fotos, y tener entrevistas. Usualmente van al templo esa noche, pero porque vamos a ir toda la misión el próximo mes, no fueron esta vez. Pudieron dormir más temprano. El próximo dia desayunaron y después fueron a la capilla para la capacitación con sus nuevos compañeros. El mejor parte del día es en la tarde cuando les dicen quien va a ser su compañero y adonde van a ir. Van a ser gran misioneros y misioneras!!
