Last week we received fourteen new missionaries -- three sisters and eleven elders. We are so grateful to have them in our mission! One elder and one sister arrived from the Provo MTC on Monday night after our farewell dinner and testimony meeting. Some of the office secretaries and two of our mission nurses were with us to greet them. Then Tuesday morning, we went back to the airport with our daughter, Sarah, to welcome twelve more. After making sure everyone's visa papers were in order, we headed to the mission home for lunch and a short orientation, then they went to the office for interviews and to e-mail their families. After interviews they went to stay in the temple housing for the night and President Dennis came home so we could see our son, Elder Dennis, return from his mission. How grateful we are for Skype!! The next morning we went to the church to have the new missionary training meeting and they met their first companions who will train them. That afternoon they said good-bye and were off to their first areas.

La semana pasada recibimos catorce nuevos misioneros -- tres hermanas y once élderes. Estamos muy agradecidos tenerlos en nuestra misión! Un élder y una hermana llegaron del CCM de Provo el lunes en la noche después de la cena de despedida reunión para los misioneros que terminaron. Algunos de los secretarios y dos de las enfermeras de la misión estuvieron con nosotros para recibirlos. El martes por la mañana, regresamos al aeropuerto con nuestra hija, Sarah, para recibir doce más. Después de asegurar que estaban en orden todos los documentos de viaje, fuimos a la casa de misión para almorzar y hacer una corta orientación. Después fueron a la oficina para sus entrevistas con Presidente Dennis y para escribir a sus familias. Después de las entrevistas, fueron a quedarse en el hospedaje al lado del templo y el Pdte. Dennis regresó a casa para poder ver a nuestro hijo, Elder Dennis, regresar de su misión. Qué agradecidos estamos por el Skype!! La próxima mañana fuimos a la capilla para la capacitación de nuevos misioneros y conocieron a sus primeros compañeros quienes les van a entrenar. Esa tarde se despidieron y se fueron a sus primeros sectores.
