ITS HARD TO SAY GOOD-BYE!! ES DIFICIL DECIR ADIOS!!

On Nov. 20, we had a farewell dinner for five elders who would be leaving the next day. Four of them had extended a month to continue to move the work forward and train those who would replace them. This was especially hard to lose them because they had been very dedicated missionaries and mission leaders and we had worked closely with them -- two assistants, one secretary (who was really another assistant), and one zone leader. Their dedication was a blessing to the mission and to us personally and we will miss them greatly. This was one of the most difficult good-bye's we've had in all our time here. But we know they will all go on to be great leaders and will continue to further the Lord's work in their wards and stakes. We are not usually able to go to the airport, but this time we were able to go and see three of them off. All the office secretaries and assistants were there to send off their companions. It was so hard for everyone to say good-bye!!

El 20 de noviembre tuvimos una cena de despedida para cinco élderes quienes salieron el próximo día. Cuatro de ellos habían extendido un mes para ayudar a avanzar mas la obra y para entrenar los que iban a reemplacerles. Fue especialmente dificil perderles porque habían sido misioneros y ´lideres muy dedicados y habíamos trabajado muy de cerca con ellos -- dos asistentes, un secretario (quien realmente fue un asistente también), y un líder de zona. Su dedicación fue una bendición para la misión y para nosotros personalmente y les extrañaremos muchísimo! Esto fue una de las despedidas más difíciles que hemos tenido durante nuestro tiempo aquí. Pero sabemos que van a llegar a ser grandes líderes y continuar apresurando la obra del Señor en sus barrios y estacas. Usualmente no tenemos la oportunidad de ir al aeropuerto cuando salen, pero pudimos hacerlo esta vez para despedirnos de los tres de la oficina. Todos los secretarios y asistentes estuvieron para despedirse de sus compañeros. Fue tan difícil para todos decir adios!!
