NEW MISSIONARIES LAST WEEK NUEVOS MISIONEROS LA SEMANA PASADA

Last week on Tuesday morning we received four new missionaries. We feel bad that they had to arrive at a such a crazy time, but they met a lot of other missionaries very quickly because they were staying in the temple housing with all the ones from the north.  Two came from the Provo MTC at 1:00 am and two came from the Bogota MTC at 10:00 am.  We are so glad we didn't get a big group time or we would have had nowhere to put them!  We had lunch at the mission home and then went to see the sisters off to their new areas. That evening, the four new elders were able to go on a temple session. The next day we had the new missionary training at the office and from there, went back over to the temple to see off the elders. Everyone is now in their new sectors, although some apartments are pretty cramped with extra missionaries and mattresses. But it's alright because we are all glad to help!

El martes de la semana pasada recibimos cuatro misioneros nuevos. Sentimos mal que tuvieron que llegar durante un tiempo tan difícil pero conocieron a muchos otros misioneros muy rápido porque estaban en el hospedaje con los misioneros del norte. Dos llegaron del CCM de Provo a la 1:00 am y dos llegaron del CCM de Bogotá a las 10 am.  Estamos muy agradecidos que no llegó un grupo grande o no hubiéramos tenido lugar donde ponerlos!  Almorzamos en la casa de misión y después fuimos a despedirnos de las hermanas antes de ser mandadas a sus nuevos sectores. Esa noche, los nuevos élderes asistieron al templo.  El próximo día tuvimos la reunión de capacitación de los nuevos en la oficina y de allí, regresamos al hospedaje para despedirnos de los élderes del norte.  Todos están ahora en sus nuevos sectores, aunque algunos apartamentos están un poco apretados con misioneros y colchones extras. Pero está bien porque todos estamos contentos en poder ayudar!
